Clippo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Chrome extension.

2. Information We Collect

Clippo collects only the minimum data necessary to provide its core functionality:

• Authentication Data: Email address, password (hashed and managed by Supabase), access tokens, and refresh tokens
• User-Generated Content: YouTube video IDs, clip titles, timestamps (start/end times), category names, and category icons
• Extension Usage: Interaction with the extension itself (stored locally on your device)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for:

• User authentication and account management
• Storing and organizing your saved clips
• Syncing your clips across devices (if logged in)
• Providing access to your clips via clippo.app

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (a PostgreSQL-based backend service) with:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
• Row-level security policies (you can only access your own data)
• Regular security updates and backups

The extension also stores clips locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell or share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising or marketing
• Share your clips with other users unless you choose to
• Track your browsing history or behavior outside the extension

We only share data with Supabase (our backend provider) as necessary to store and sync your clips.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all your data stored in your account
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Export your clips

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
